  • 450 grams shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 250 grams chicken sausage, sliced
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/3 cup honey (80 ml)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (60 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (15 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (5 grams)
  • 2 tablespoons water (30 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, cornstarch, and water.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan and cook sausage until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • Add remaining oil and cook broccoli until tender-crisp. Remove and set aside.
  • Cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  • Return sausage and broccoli to the pan.
  • Pour in the sauce and stir to coat evenly.
  • Cook for 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  • Garnish and serve hot.

Notes

  • Do not overcook shrimp to keep them tender

  • Use low-sodium soy sauce for a healthier option

  • Add chili flakes for extra heat

  • Best served fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 3 days
