A fun, kid-friendly, and cheesy appetizer or snack, stuffed crust pizza snacks are easy to make and packed with flavor.
1 roll (14 oz) refrigerated pizza crust (classic or thin crust)
8 sticks mozzarella string cheese, cut into thirds (24 pieces)
24 slices turkey pepperoni
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
Nonstick cooking spray, for greasing
Optional: pizza sauce or marinara, for dipping
Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C).
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with nonstick spray.
Cut each string cheese stick into three equal pieces, making 24 cheese pieces.
In a small bowl, mix together:
1 tsp oregano
½ tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp parmesan cheese
Roll out the refrigerated pizza crust on a clean surface.
Cut the dough into 24 equal squares using a pizza cutter or sharp knife.
Place one cheese piece in the center of each dough square.
Roll the dough tightly around the cheese, pinching the seams to seal completely.
Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
Brush each dough ball with melted butter.
Sprinkle the seasoning mix evenly on top.
Place one turkey pepperoni slice on each dough ball, pressing it lightly so it sticks.
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and cool for 2 minutes.
Serve warm with a side of pizza sauce or marinara for dipping.
Make sure the dough is sealed tightly to prevent cheese from leaking during baking.
For spicier bites, add crushed red pepper flakes to the seasoning.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
Reheat in an oven or air fryer to keep them crispy.
You can use crescent dough or homemade pizza dough if preferred.
