Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough or crescent roll dough
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Season the beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir to combine, then remove from heat.
  4. Unroll the dough onto a lightly floured surface. If using crescent dough, pinch the seams together to seal.
  5. Spread the cooked beef evenly over the dough, then sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Roll the dough up tightly, starting from one long end, to form a log. Slice into 1 to 1.5-inch pieces.
  7. Place the rollups on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic and brush over the tops of the rollups.
  9. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  10. Sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired, and serve warm.
