Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs beef sirloin or stew meat, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 strips turkey bacon, chopped
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp butter, cut into pieces
  • Optional: fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the beef cubes with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Toss to coat evenly.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the beef cubes for 2–3 minutes until browned on all sides. Work in batches if needed.
  3. Add the seared beef to the crockpot.
  4. In the same pan, cook the chopped turkey bacon until slightly crispy. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  5. Pour the turkey bacon and garlic mixture over the beef in the crockpot.
  6. Add Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, and butter to the crockpot. Stir gently to combine.
  7. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the beef is tender.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving, if desired. Serve hot with your choice of sides like mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables.

Notes

  • Searing the beef before adding to the crockpot is optional but highly recommended for maximum flavor.

  • Use low-sodium broth if you’re watching your salt intake.

  • Don’t skip the butter—it’s essential for the rich, garlic-infused sauce.

  • Adjust the spice level to your taste by adding red pepper flakes or hot sauce.

  • Make it your own by adding mushrooms, onions, or bell peppers during the last hour of cooking.
