For the spaghetti:

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

For the creamy cheese mixture:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

For the topping:

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and garlic, sautéing until softened.

Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain any excess grease.

Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Let simmer for 5 minutes.

In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, ricotta cheese, and Parmesan cheese until smooth.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, layer half of the cooked spaghetti, followed by the creamy cheese mixture.

Add the remaining spaghetti, then pour the meat sauce evenly over the top.

Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and crumbled turkey bacon.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

1. Customization Ideas

  • Make it spicier: Add crushed red pepper flakes or diced jalapeños to the meat sauce.
  • Vegetarian option: Swap the meat for mushrooms, lentils, or plant-based crumbles.
  • Add extra veggies: Mix in spinach, bell peppers, or zucchini for more nutrients.

2. Cooking Tips

  • Cook spaghetti al dente to avoid sogginess after baking.
  • Use room temperature cream cheese for easier mixing and a smooth consistency.
  • Drain excess grease from ground beef to prevent the sauce from being too oily.

3. Storage & Meal Prep

  • Refrigerate for up to 4 days in an airtight container.
  • Freeze for up to 3 months—just assemble, cover tightly, and freeze before baking.
  • Reheat in the oven at 350°F, covered with foil, for the best texture.
