  • 4 pieces Chicken Breasts
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 0.5 tbsp Nonstick Cooking Spray
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 0.5 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Hot Sauce
  • 4 cups Cornflakes
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 2 tsp Seasoning Mix
  • 0.5 cup Honey
  • 2 tbsp Additional Hot Sauce
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 0.25 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Mustard Powder

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  2. Crush cornflakes into small pieces using a food processor or a rolling pin.
Set up three shallow bowls: one for flour and brown sugar, one for whisked eggs with hot sauce, and a third for the crushed cornflake mixture.
  1. Prepare the chicken by slicing and tenderizing it to a uniform thickness.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then coat each piece in the flour mixture, dip in the egg wash, and roll in the cornflake mixture.
  3. Arrange the coated chicken pieces on a greased baking sheet and spray lightly with nonstick spray.
  4. Bake for 15-16 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
  5. Meanwhile, prepare your hot honey sauce by combining the desired ingredients in a saucepan over low heat.
  6. Drizzle the baked chicken with the hot honey sauce before serving.
