  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup strawberries, finely diced (or any preferred fruit)
  • 8 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
  • Chocolate or fruit sauce, for dipping (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  2. Fold in the diced strawberries gently.
  3. Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with one corner pointing toward you (like a diamond).
  4. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the cheesecake mixture into the center of the wrapper.
  5. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll up tightly. Brush the top corner with beaten egg to seal.
  6. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  7. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry the eggrolls in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  8. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm with chocolate or fruit dipping sauce if desired.
